ABBA-The Winner Takes it All (Agnetha Faltskog)

Hello YouTube! This is my first video and I hope you like it :) The pictures are mostly of Agnetha Faltskog because she is my idol. The song is by ABBA, the Winner Takes it all (One of my favorites, but the most depressing) Well, hope you like it and please comment and suscribe and I promise there would be more to come!! :) Lyrics: (If you like to sing along) I don’t wanna talk About things we’ve gone through Though it’s hurting me Now it’s history I’ve played all my cards And that’s what you’ve done too Nothing more to say No more ace to play The winner takes it all The loser standing small Beside the victory That’s her destiny I was in your arms Thinking I belonged there I figured it made sense Building me a fence Building me a home Thinking I’d be strong there But I was a fool Playing by the rules The Gods may throw a dice Their minds as cold as ice And someone way down here Loses someone dear The winner takes it all (Takes it all) The loser has to fall (Has to fall) It’s simple and it’s plain (Yes, it’s plain) Why should I complain (I complain) But tell me does she kiss Like I used to kiss you Does it feel the same When she calls your name Somewhere deep inside You must know I miss you But what can I say Rules must be obeyed The judges will decide (Will decide) The likes of me abide (Me abide) Spectators of the show (Of the show) Always staying low (Staying low) The game is on again (All again) A lover or a friend (Or a friend) A big thing or a small (Big or small

Never understood how a guy could leave a woman who had his children, she didn’t cheat on him, she was a great mother we know that. he must? have wanted her enough to have children with her. Oh well, guess i’m old school, still married to my wife after 33 years and 3 kids………..

this is the first ABBA song I ever heard, it wasn’t until I was older that I found the real meaning to the song.

I think this is one of these songs that everyone who has been in a relationship can identify with when it goes wrong and people separate.? it has been my favourite song all these years, beautiful woman, beautiful song and one of the best voices I have ever heard.
unlikely to hear anything like this again

You are right, Agnetha is my favorite singer together with the late Karen Carpenter.? They are both spectacular and unique. Thanks for uploading this video.

    Couldn’t agree with you more.
Never have I heard two girls {who are not family,} sound like bells together!
“Mamma Mia” case and point, of the excellent song writings.
So glad? ABBA happened; meant to be!

    - i disagree with you. This song is about the pain of divorce. “The judges will decide. The likes of? me, abide.”
Her ex-husband wrote this song shortly after they separated. He immediately found another girlfriend. She went into therapy for depression.
Though children do suffer from their parents’ divorce, this song was not about that. Believe it or not, the people getting divorce suffer, also.
